Most recipes fit into eating plans written by Haylie Pomroy- The Fast Metabolism Diet Plan, Metabolism Revolution, Food Rx Plans and Burn plans. I did not write these plans, I do not own the plans. These are my recipes I use for those plans. Of course, you don't have to be on a plan to eat these yummy recipes!
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie - Phase 1 and Phase 3
I love all things pumpkin in the fall. Pie, bread, ice cream, biscuits, pancakes. And SMOOTHIES! This is a great way to get your veggies incorporated into a p3 breakfast. So delicious. And you have so many options to make this and they all taste great! This recipe makes 1 serving.
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Phase 1 and Phase 3
1 cup pumpkin
zucchini or yellow squash- cooked or raw, I use raw.
½ cup carrot- cooked or raw, your choice
cinnamon or 1/2 tsp of my Pumpkin Spice
vanilla, alcohol free
1/2 cup water, or the amount you like
2T pecans, p3 only
½ cup rolled
oats, uncooked, for p1. Use 1/4 cup for p3
xylitol or stevia equivalent
1-2 cups ice- your preference
and pecans for 30 seconds in a dry blender. Add all other ingredients and blend until smooth. Taste and add sweetener or spice or vanilla to make it perfect.
