Buffalo Wing Sauce - Phase 3

Have you ever craved wings and think you can't have them? Sometimes Frank's Hot Sauce calls my name... here is a FABULOUS sauce that is SO good on some chicken, you will never want fried bar food wings again! And, it is super easy to make!

Buffalo Wing Sauce
Phase 3

1/4 cup olive oil or my Vegan Butter (see blog for recipe)
1/4 cup Frank's Hot Sauce (or any other compliant hot sauce)
Pinch of baking soda

Pour everything into a sauce pan. Heat over medium heat, whisking until smooth. Baking soda will react with the vinegar in the hot sauce, and that is ok. Just keep whisking.

This is super versatile. This version is what I consider a Medium wing sauce.
If you want it more mild, use a more mild hot sauce, and more oil.
If you want it hot or HOT!, add dried chili powder, chipotle powder, ghost chili oil.

Sometimes I add garlic powder, sometimes I mix the hot sauces and use a few different kinds. Sometimes I use my homemade hot sauce- but it is SUPER hot!

Have fun with this and make it your own.

Toss grilled chicken strips in this. SO GOOD!
