Spelt Tortillas- Phase 1 & Metabolism Revolution

2 cups spelt flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cumin
1 tsp vinegar
3/4 c HOT water

Mix everything but the water together in a big bowl. Add the water, little by little. You want a dough that is a bit wet, but not too wet. 

Form into 16 balls. Roll each on with a bit of flour to keep it from sticking. Cook in a hot skillet for 1 minute on each side. 

Each tortilla is a grain serving on Metabolism Revolution. 

(for Phase 1 of FMD, you can have 2 tortillas)

  1. Carolyn...Thanks for the recipes for Metabolism Revolution. My book is coming today so I am not sure what my Meal Map would be. Are all of these recipes for any Meal Map or a specific one. I'm anxious to get my book and figure all this out. I trust your recipes, so keep them coming!

    1. With MR, all portions are the same but some meals may have 2 portions. Some have 1

    1. They're really best fresh. I don't freeze much. I put them in a plastic zip bag in the fridge
