Fry Spice - All Phase

I am not one for spice blends, generally, because I prefer to be different every time I make something. Variety is the spice of life! HA!

Anyway- this is one of my favorite blends to use on fries... on FMD, you can use this on your sweet potato fries, or roasted cauliflower, or other roasted veggies. Burgers, salads...This is a copy cat of Red Robin seasoning. Use it on everything!

If you are on maintenance, or if you are not following FMD, be sure to add in the additions at the end of the recipe. This tastes more like the real thing but coconut sugar and dried tomato powder isn't compliant for FMD. The spice mix still tastes great without the additions!

You can use teaspoons or tablespoons- depending on the amount you want. For best results, put it in a spice grinder or blender and pulse a few times to get a good powder.

These are the spices in the Red Robin blend- you can omit any you do not like or have, but it will not taste authentic. Of course, there are no subs for any herb, because they all have their own unique flavor.

Enjoy!

Fry Spice
All Phase

5 parts sea salt
4 parts smoked paprika
2 parts garlic powder
1 part onion powder
1 part chili powder
1 part nutritional yeast
1/2 part cumin
1/2 part celery salt
1/2 part dried basil
1/2 part ground black pepper
1/4 part ground sage
1/4 part dried oregano

** additions for Maintenance Blend **
2 parts dried tomato powder
3 parts coconut sugar

(for dried tomato powder, you can slice tomatoes and put in your dehydrator until dry and then grind to a powder. You can also use a tomato soup mix, if you want. I think the dried tomato powder tastes better)
