Metabolism Revolution Chili

MR Chili
8 Protein servings

4 bell peppers, any color
2 large onions

Cut the peppers and onions in half and roast in 475 degree oven until charred, or use a grill.
Remove the seeds from the pepper. You can remove the charred skin if you want.

Put pepper and onion in blender and add:
1 garlic clove
3T lime juice
2T chili powder
2 tsp paprika
1/2 cup water

Blend until smooth. Add more water if needed to smooth. It should be the consistency of tomato sauce.
Taste and adjust salt and pepper. Set aside.



1lb cubed lean beef or ground meat
1.5 cups kidney beans
1.5 cups black beans
2 cups water
1 garlic cloves, minced
1 large onion, diced
3 celery stalks, diced
3-4 cups zucchini, diced
2 cups yellow squash, diced
1 cup shredded carrot
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp vinegar
1 tsp salt
1-2 tsp black pepper


Brown the meat in a large pot. You can use olive oil if you need a healthy fat
Add the onion, celery, garlic. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add the spices. Stir. Add the other veggies, water, and sauce from the blender.
Stir and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Taste and adjust seasoning.

    1. Haylie's Metabolism Revolution plan has 3 meal maps that have different number of protein portions , depending on your meal map. If your meal requires 1 protein portion, then yes, this makes 8 servings. If your meal requires 2 protein portions, it would make 4 servings.

  4. There is almost 16 cups of vegetables so not many more would be needed depending on your meal map.

    1. At the time of posting, celery wasn't counted as a veggie since its a free food. That's been updated so you're correct
