My First Week of Hormone Rx - Part 1

We have decided to do the Hormone Rx plan. We start tomorrow. I thought I would share the meal map I came up with. I am keeping it simple this week, as I test it out, and search for ideas. 

Here is Monday- Thursday, where the focus is on protein, veggies and some fat. This meal map makes me think very differently about meals, and that I need to have the tasty favorite meals earlier in the day, when fat is prescribed. Also, breakfasts are very different. We are not used to eating meat at breakfast 

I will post Friday- Sunday menu later in the week, along with results and what I have experienced. 

Monday

Breakfast
Steak Veggie Stir Fry, cooked in olive oil

Snack
Turkey Meatballs, Creamy Cole Slaw 

Lunch
Grilled Chicken Salad, Ranch dressing

Snack
Chicken Veggie Soup

Dinner
Chicken Fajita Lettuce Wraps

Tuesday

Breakfast
Chocolate smoothie with spinach, zucchini, carrot
Grilled Chicken

Snack
Meatballs, celery sticks, cashew butter

Lunch
Chicken Fajita Lettuce Wraps, avocado

Snack
Chicken Veggie Soup

Dinner

BBQ Chicken Kebobs, green beans

Wednesday

Breakfast
2 Egg Omelet, with peppers, onions, spinach, carrot, zucchini and avocado

Snack
Deviled Eggs, cucumbers

Lunch
BBQ Chicken Kebobs, Green Beans, Chocolate Almond Milk

Snack
Chicken Veggie Soup

Dinner
Filet, Steamed Broccoli, Rhubarb Compote

Thursday

Breakfast
Cashew Butter, Celery, Meatballs

Snack
Chicken Veggie Soup, Almond Milk

Lunch
Filet on a Salad, Ranch

Snack
Grilled Chicken, Cucumbers

Dinner
Asian Chicken Stir Fry with Sweet Chili Sauce
